The history books show that until the end of the 15th century, Stefan “Wirt zu Tyrwang” held the manor. The first mentioned in 1497 showed the sale of the inn to Hanns Perkhofer.

Until the last century, the “Taferne”, the only inn in the Samerberger Hochtal, offered rooms in which weddings or other larger celebrations could be celebrated.

Further historical records about the inn document the livestock in 1676: a cow, a young cattle and two pigs.

In 1815 the land was divided as follows:

0.79 day's work for the economy and garden, 1.77 day's work for the house, 143 day's work for the Alm in the Wieserwald, and ¼ share in the Feichteck Alm, as an extension to Wimmer and Schmiedhauser in Törwang. The daily work (former area size) in Bavaria covered between 25 and 36 a, i.e. 2500 to 3600 m².

The property has been in the area since 1818 Heart of Törwang now owned by the Pallauf family. The Gasthof-Hotel “Zur Post” opens today seventh generation successfully run by Wolfgang Pallauf and his daughter Romy.
